Problem Statement
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, cybersecurity awareness remains a critical yet often overlooked aspect, particularly for younger generations. With students actively engaging in online activities like social media, gaming, and web browsing, they are increasingly exposed to potential risks.
Biz Serve IT aimed to address this gap by educating young minds on basic yet essential cybersecurity principles, equipping them with the knowledge to stay safe online.
What We Did for Them
To support Biz Serve IT’s mission of promoting cybersecurity awareness, we designed and executed a comprehensive digital campaign that amplified their initiative. At the heart of this campaign was an engaging and impactful presentation, which simplified complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable insights for a younger audience.
The presentation covered essential topics such as:
- Building strong and secure passwords.
- Recognizing and avoiding phishing emails or malicious links.
- The importance of keeping devices updated.
- Steps to report cyber threats effectively.
This presentation became the centerpiece of a cybersecurity awareness session conducted by Biz Serve IT’s CEO , Mr. Prabhat Pokharel , on September 29 , 2023 , at SOS Children’s Villages Nepal. The session targeted students from grades 6 to 10 , providing them with practical knowledge and tools to navigate the digital landscape securely.
What They Achieved
The cybersecurity awareness session successfully educated students from grades 6 to 10 about the fundamentals of staying safe online. Biz Serve IT’s initiative not only empowered young minds with practical cybersecurity knowledge but also strengthened their reputation as a leader in digital safety.
